BRADFORD EAGLES 97 BOYS SOAR !!
Congratulations to the Bradford Eagles 97 U11 Boys rep soccer team ! The
team competed in the Muskoka Early Summer Soccer Tournament in Bracebridge
on May 31 - June 1 and won silver. The boys finished in first place in
their group in the opening round with victories of 1-0 vs. Kawartha Lakes, 6-0
vs. North Bay and a 0-0 draw with Collingwood. Bradford goals were scored by
Adrian Deviveiros (2), Tarron Boyd (2), Kiriakos Tsarouhas (2) and Branden
Ringhofer and Vince DeCastro with one each. The team advanced to the gold
medal match. After a hard fought match which was deadlocked at 1-1 through
extra time, they lost in a penalty shootout. A fantastic team effort, with
a special mention to our keeper, Matt Sequeira, and our defense core which
only allowed 1 goal against in 4 games.

U16 GIRLS REGIONAL TEAM "UNDEFEATED" DURING INDOOR SEASON !
Congratulations to the Bradford Eagles U16 Girls Team for an awesome indoor season of "UNDEFEATED" play.
Adding to this impressive accomplishment, they managed to score 30 goals on opposing teams while surrendering
just 1 goal against during the season which began in January and wrapped-up with the finals in April. Outstanding !!
Coach Pat Logel summed up their effort, "Pure commitment and desire to win drove them to be the
best they could be!" Well done ladies and well deserved. We now look forward to the CGSL outdoor season.
